报告题目:《Syntheses of Functionalized Acetylenes: Double Elimination Protocol and Ph2P(O) Protection》

折田明诰教授(Akihiro Orita),专注于催化合成领域,其本科、硕士、博士均毕业于日本大阪大学;1995年在冈山理科大学任教,2009年晋升为教授。2002年获得日本化学会杰出学术报告奖。目前已发表论文200余篇,其中在国际重点期刊J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. In. Ed., Nano Lett.,等发表论文30多篇。邀请综述10篇,他引2247次,单篇最高引用178次,H-index为28。撰写英文、日文专著8部。

The protection is one of the fundamental technologies in organic synthesis. Although a number of protecting groups were developed and utilized in synthesis of structurally complicated compounds, new protecting groups are still being explored. We developed a new protecting group, Ph2P(O), which enabled easy isolation of the Sonogashira coupling product because of the high polarity, and exemplified the usefulness of this protection in the synthesis of phenyleneethynylenes. Moreover, we have expanded the applicability of this protecting group to one-pot synthesis of arylethynes through deprotection followed by transition metal catalyzed coupling reactions such as Sonogashira, Migita- Kosugi-Stille, Hay, and Eglinton couplings.
